Bakhru, Mihir R., MD
Dr. Mihir Bakhru joined Ohio Gastroenterology Group in 2012 after completion of an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Bakhru earned his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where he received the prestigious ACG Governor’s Auxiliary Award. He subsequently completed his fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he received the Houston award for Distinguished Fellow of Excellence and Distinguished Clinical Educator. He was selected to be a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) in 2016. Dr. Bakhru has a special interest in complex endoscopy procedures and the management of pancreas and biliary tract disorders.
