Marty M. Meyer MD
Marty M. Meyer is a board-certified gastroenterologist and patient care award winning physician. Raised in Columbus, he completed his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame and then returned home to Ohio State for medical school. Dr. Meyer completed medical school, internal medicine and gastroenterology training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His accomplishments at Ohio State led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He was a member of the Ohio State faculty from 2009-2018 during which time he served as Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program and was promoted to Associate Professor. His primary clinical focus is luminal disorders including celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease and malabsorption syndromes. Dr. Meyer was the recipient of several awards including multiple Outstanding Achievement in Patient Service Awards and the Dr. Fred B. Thomas Faculty Teaching Award. In 2017, he was recognized as a Fellow by the American Gastroenterological Association for his years of impact in the field of gastroenterology. In 2018, he was recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology for his national contributions to the organization.
Dr. Meyer has been married for 15 years to his college sweetheart, Lisa. They reside in Dublin and are busy raising three children. In his spare time, he attends his children’s various dance and sporting events and tries to play golf. He and his family love visiting Myrtle Beach and Disney World.
